Josee Gill, RN, MSN, is promoted to Upson’s Chief Clinical Officer. In her new position, Gill is responsible for leading the clinical and ancillary clinical teams at Upson, as well as overseeing compliance with regulatory agencies.

CEO David Castleberry says the promotion is inline with Gill’s track record of success.  “Josee has an unwavering focus on the patient and a gift for instilling processes, behaviors and accountability measures that ensure the delivery of quality and compassionate care.”

This promotion is Gill’s second since she joined Upson in 2008 as Assistant Chief Nursing Officer of Emergency Services, and later was promoted to Assistant Chief Clinical Officer.

Gill’s style of leadership is a cornerstone of her success. “Josee’s employees enjoy her honest, open style,” said Castleberry. “She does not expect anymore from her employees than she is willing to give.”

Previously, Gill worked for Columbia Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL, as the Director of the Emergency and Psychiatric Intake Department and Director of Medical/Surgical units.

Gill holds nursing degrees from Vanier College, University of Montreal, and University of Phoenix.  Originally from Quebec Canada, Gill resides in Thomaston, Ga., with her husband, Mario.
